How to photograph dogs of all shapes and sizes:
Step 1: Spend a few moments getting to know the dog. Make sure they trust you before you take out the camera!
Step 2: Make sure your camera is focused and ready to shoot before you try to get the dog to pose. Once you're ready, ask them to sit.
Step 3: Treats, treats, treats! My best pictures came from holding a treat above the lens or wherever I wanted them to look.
Step 4: If you need to stop and play for awhile to get their energy out, that works! Once they're a little tired from playing, they usually pose for more pictures.
